The Simple Present Tense is a form of the Present Tense.

It is used to tell about things that are happening now, or actions that are happening in the present moment.


The Simple Present Tense is used for things like:

-describing what someone does on an average day;

-describing how someone feels;

-describing what something looks like;

-describing what has happened recently (not more than one week ago).
